 ORDERING

  1. How do I search?
    We have categorized the clothing  items to make it easier for you OR  you can search on our search bar.
  1. Do I need an account to place an order?
    NO.
  1. How do I make a purchase?
    Once you select what you like just click on 'add to cart' and then proceed to check out with your details. We also have cash on delivery (at an additional cost of INR 700) - if that would be easier for you. If you have any problems please contact customercare@fashionmarket.lk
  1. Will I be charged if I choose the payment mode as COD?
    YES. You will be charged an extra of INR700. You can avoid this by doing a bank transfer or through online payment. (Visa OR Master card)
  1. Does fashion market offer gift orders?
    YES. When you are in your shopping bag scroll down to gift orders section and tick Please wrap the products in this order.

DELIVERY/SHIPPING

  1. How do I track my order?
    It will be fully tracked , and an email notification will be sent to you by our team. The courier person will also contact you. If you need more information on getting the tracking number/status please email customercare@fashionmarket.lk
  1. How long will delivery take?
    It will take for about 7 - 10 working days.

  1. Can I change my shipping address once my order has been dispatched?
    You can only change the shipping address before dispatch. If you enter a wrong address by mistake please email to customercare@fashionmarket.lk

 

  1. What happens if I'm out when you deliver?
    You will have to contact the customer care in advance and inform if you are not available on the day of your delivery.
  1. How much duties and taxes do I have to pay?
    We bear all the duties and taxes on behalf of our fashionmarket.lk customers.
  1. What are the KYC documents that I need to submit to proceed my order?

(I) Passport
(II) PAN card
(III) Voter's identity card
(iv) Driving license
(v) Bank account statement
(vi) Ration card

It will be sufficient if you could provide copies of any of the two documents mentioned above.

  1. Do you ship to any state of India?
    YES
  1. If I choose products with immediate shipping and on a future date when will my order be shipped?
    The order will be shipped on the future date of the product. An email will be sent to you regarding the delivery date.

RETURNS & EXCHANGE

  1. Can I exchange an item?

  1. Will I be refunded the full value of my order?
    We do accept only exchanges and we do not do any refunds,  however you may exchange an item to your liking.

  1. Is it safe to use my credit/debit card online at fashion market?
    YES. We are using one of the leading and trusted HNB payment gateway in Sri Lanka  which has all the latest security features and standards. 
  1. Is my personal information kept private?
    YES. Fashionmarket.lk is running on one of the most secure ecommerce platforms and your personal information is secured.

GENERAL

  1. Does the saree come with a blouse piece?
    YES. The blouse piece will be either attached to the saree OR provided as a separate piece.
  1. How do I know if the item will fit me?
    You can refer to the size guide at the bottom left side of the fashion market website.

  1. How do I create a fashion market account and what are the benefits?
    Go to register top right side on the website, fill in the details and click on create account.

Benefits -

  • You don't need to enter your shipping details over and over again.
  • You can add FM points on every purchase you make with fashionmarket.lk
  1. I have forgotten my password - what shall I do?
    Go to my account and click on forgotten password, you will be asked an email address for which new password setting details will be emailed from Fashion market.
